Rules for Prompters

This is a Prompt, not a Commission! That means Authors are free to change any and all details of the prompt they've chosen
Please refer to the section below for things we do not allow this round and keep it in mind when you prompt!
Rules for Writers
Writers are allowed one prompt at a time, meaning if you want to post more than one work, you will need to submit the first one before claiming another prompt! This also works for self-prompts
Works will be posted on AO3
Please write in English! You are, of course, welcome to post your fic Again in another language.
Please adhere to AO3 tagging rules, use appropriate warnings!

A few weeks before deadline will send an E-Mail with instructions! If you've finished your work super early and want to submit already, please just contact us via DM or E-Mail!Will my information be made public?
Nope! All information you give us, such as your E-Mail, will remain private and only be used to contact you about Check-Ins and Submissions.Can I get an extension on the deadline?
This year we have a 9 day gap between the deadline (October 10) and the start of posting (October 19) to avoid running into the same problems as last year. Therefore, we will likely be able to give out extensions of up to 5 days if you contact us BEFORE October 10!
How does Prompting work?
From June 1 at Midnight KST until June 14 at MIdnight KST, you have the chance to prompt for our Fic Fest! To do that, you will simply have to fill out the Google Doc at the link below!
Your Prompts will be collected and published in the prompting archive for authors to look at and pick from.
Please remember the following:
This a prompt and not a commission, meaning that authors are allowed to change any and all details of your prompt. If you want a specific story written in a specific way, we suggest you contact your favorite authors directly!
In a similar vein to the first bullet point, you will not have control or information over who picked your prompt!
You are allowed to submit as many prompts as you want, please just keep our list of "Things we DON'T allow" in mind (found under Rules)
Please submit your prompt in english! This is so all authors can consider all prompts, without the problem of a language barrier
If you want to write your own idea, please SELF-PROMPT!! More Information on that can be found under Claiming
How does Claiming work?Before Claiming opens, we will reveal the "Prompt Archive" so everyone who's interested can look at the prompts and pick out which one(s) they'd like to write. Make sure to write down which prompt # you want, because this fest works on a first-come-first-serve basis!
When Claiming opens on June 15, you will have to fill out a Google Doc that will be linked below.
We will ask the following information:
Contact E-Mail
AO3 Username
Secondary Method of Contact (e.g. Twitter, Tumblr)
Age Range (note: we do not allow minors to submit works that are Explicit or Mature)
Which Prompt you want to claim
All this information, apart from your AO3 Username, will of course NOT be made public! We will only use your E-Mail to contact you about Check-Ins and Submissions.
Please note that we will ask you to list THREE (3) prompts you'd like to write. We do this to avoid several people claiming the same prompt, so if your 1st pick is already taken, you'll likely get your 2nd pick. If all prompts you have listed are unavailable, we will contact you!After you have filled out the Claiming form, we will contact you via the given E-Mail to confirm your participation and tell you which prompt you've successfully claimed!
How does Self-Prompting work?If you want to participate in our Fest but use your own idea, you can Self-Prompt! For this we will also ask you to fill out the Google Doc.
